I have some questions about the rules: How's your spoiler policy? I don't know about the rest of you but I am extremely allergic to unwanted spoilers so I wouldn't like to talk about plots where I shouldn't.

And what about posting screencaptures? Is it allowed? (I'm never sure how are copyright laws about that.)

Oh! And I hope it's not considered spam the credit at my signature, I just thought it'd be fair to put that when using someone's icon.


Also (edited for a suggestion): I guess you're already thinking about this kind of stuff but I think it'd be a good idea opening subforums for series such as Battlestar Galactica, where her character has become a huge fan success and about which I'm sure there will be a lot of discussion (I mean, there's no point in opening a subforum for Fastlane but BSG or STTNG have quite a lot to talk about).

Thanks for your suggestions! We'll think about the board structure and adding some subforums, as you can see, we haven't even worked out how to add proper smilies *g*

as for spoilers, -I just wrote a small essay about how to put spoiler tags, because theoretically we have them,but apparently they don't work like I thought or maybe that's just me... I'll come back with a technical instructions post later*g*

Main site is in a sad state 

* Unmaintained central gallery
* Random Image widget for months now with old pic's
* Broken links (caused by re-introduction of the domain mess, .org and .net)
* Shortened and careless news instead of articles with real content
* Durham County and In Treatment being ignored on the main site
* Every now and then a website needs a new and exciting visual/optical kick

I didn't change/re-introduce anything regarding this and I didn't come across any broken links. I'll fix it if you'd be more specific.

I think we already cleared up that we have different expectations regarding this website. I won't be able to live up to your high standards and I don't plan to. I'm doing this the way I feel comfortable with it.
Yes, I know I haven't really been up to date recently and I hope I'll be able to change that. But sometimes there are things that are more important than a website.

Well, I would just like to see some more pictures, of Ensign Ro, for example, or even from Global Frequency. On some sites, people are are able to register and add to the gallery.

...and I had the impression that mf.net was a community effort.

It is so far the only fansite, and, that saying, it does not have to be anything incredible, but interesting and informative enough to satisfy MF fans' needs.

i for one am enjoying this website ...way too much. i have no problem with change what so ever. i realize that this site does take effort to keep up up to date. if there is anything i could do to help, let me know.
